There had been some crazy rumors of Bret Hart playing a role in SummerSlam tonight and people noted they saw him at the airport yesterday. He was in Los Angeles yesterday having nothing to do with pro wrestling. He is already back in Calgary and is not on the show.
There is a SummerSlam party tonight at Loafer’s Sports Bar & Grill in Catonsville, MD with a $5 cover charge in conjunction with Maryland Championship Wrestling.
CM Punk is expected to win the title tonight at SummerSlam but Hardy may still win as a surprise and drop the title either on Monday or Tuesday. Hardy will obviously go all out tonight knowing he doesn’t have to save anything physically and has plenty of time to rest.
Expect a lot of celebrities at ringside, maybe a cameo or two, elaborate ring entrances and more.
