— Jerry “The King” Lawler’s heart attack on the September 10 RAW and recovery continues to get mainstream coverage as a full-page story was written in The Globe tabloid. Lawler will be interviewed “live” on tonight’s episode of RAW from the Times Union Center in Albany, NY.

— As noted late last night here on the website, the top two matches for Saturday’s SmackDown live event in Sarnia, Ontario did not happen as scheduled. Instead, Sheamus defended against Alberto Del Rio, Dolph Ziggler faced Tyson Kidd, Wade Barrett took on Yoshi Tatsu, Kofi Kingston wrestled Ted Dibiase and the team of Kane and Bryan defended against The Primetime Players.
