— Many WWE employees who work in the department responsible for removing copywrited footage from YouTube.com were very upset over a “fan video” that aired on RAW several weeks ago featuring the finish of the CM Punk vs. John Cena match at WWE’s Night of Champions pay-per-view. The employees spend a ton of time taking down videos from YouTube.com and they were upset that after the video aired on RAW, the company was basically “encouraging” their fans to upload more WWE footage to the video sharing website. Of course, that means more work for them in the long run. It’s basically a double standard where they’re told to remove fan footage and then the company goes out and promotes it on their flagship show.
— As noted earlier here on the website, WWE has been considering doing some kind of storyline with instant replays. On RAW this week, AJ Lee took a shot at the NFL and mentioned that WWE does not do instant replays and won’t ever be doing them. According to a source, this was mentioned for a reason. Word is that instant replay storylines would likely be used as a stipulation or a gimmick for a certain match, not something that’s used for every match on the card.
— We’re going to have another major exclusive update on Beth Phoenix leaving WWE next month but it’s basically a case of her being frustrated by the continuous start-and-stop pushes that keep happening in the Divas division. A source close to the Divas division is under the impression that Phoenix isn’t the only one on her way out of the company. More shortly.
