— According to The Chicago Tribune, CM Punk and Colt Cabana are scheduled for a comedy show Wednesday night at ComedySportz in Lakeview, Illinois. Cabana is hosting the event, where Punk will “share some of his most entertaining stories” about pro wrestling. The ComedySportz improv group will then act out Punk’s stories.
The show will benefit the Sam Thompson Memorial Fund. Sam Thompson was a wrestling fan who died in June after a battle with cystic fibrosis and stomach cancer.
