— WWE RAW will be taped in Nashville tonight. WWE SmackDown will be taped in Memphis tomorrow night. Jerry Lawler will likely appear in some form at one of the tapings, even if its just for the live crowd. I wouldn’t expect him to appear on TV this week as they’ll likely hype that up big for a future RAW TV taping.
— Ringside Collectibles’ 2012 Ringsidefest event will be held Saturday in New York City at the Carolines Comedy Club with WWE champion CM Punk, AJ Lee and Sin Cara appearing. The event will likely be sold out soon, but tickets can be found at www.ringsidefest.com.
— A fan named Matt June said he saw Chris Jericho at a Journey/Pat Benatar/Loverboy concert in Tampa last night. The two took photos (along with the fan’s stepson) and talked about ECW and the 4-way. When asked about a WWE return, he said “stay tuned”.
— Former WWE star Cliff “Domino” Compton appeared over the weekend in Louisville, KY at “Beauty for a Benefit”, a Murder Mystery dinner event. Proceeds will go to Home of the Innocent. The event included a dinner, silent auctions and a Murder Mystery theme. Home of the Innocent is a home for underprivileged children in Louisville and one of the few that can provide for children with special needs. Their budget was cut tremendously and the event raised a lot of money. Last year, Compton helped raiser $2000 at an OVW event for a teenaged fan, Trey Zwicker, who was murdered.
