— As reported earlier, WWE cut a number of developmental talents over the weekend including Espiral (Sicodelico, Jr.), Kris Logan (Brian Cage), Aiden Frost (Jason Riggs), Troy Jackman (Ian Richardson) and Fletcher Chase (Jason Garrison). Apparently, WWE isn’t through yet. It’s being said that more cuts within developmental are expected. Stay tuned.
— As seen last night on Raw, Lilian Garcia made a noticeable miscue by announcing a Triple Threat Match for the Number One Contendership to the WWE Divas Championship. However, there were only two Divas in the match — Alicia Fox and Gail Kim. Garcia addressed the announcing mishap this morning on her Twitter account. “Was told that it was going to be a Triple Threat match so that is what I announced. That’s Live TV for ya. Only doing my job,” Garcia wrote. “Cause I got told by the ref in the ring after my announcement that it was a singles match. Things not always what they seem.” It’s been speculated that some people backstage may have purposefully given her false information considering WWE has a history of making talent who are on their way out of the company look bad. While that may have been the case, as of early in the afternoon, WWE had plans for the Divas match to be a Triple Threat Match.
