— Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown drew a 1.80 cable rating, with 2.72 million viewers. The rating is down from a 1.86 the week before, but up viewership was up from the 2.66 million it did last week.
The show ranked #6 in overall viewers among cable shows for the night, #7 among males 18 – 34 and #6 among males 18 – 49. Key male demographics were down about 0.1 from last week.
— ORIGINAL: Former WWE Women’s champion Alundra Blayze has confirmed that she will be at RAW next week for the 20th anniversary show. Blayze, aka Madusa, posted the following to Twitter:
“Houston this Saturday for monster jam and WWE Monday nite raw!”
As previously reported, Blayze was being discussed as a rumored name returning for the 20th anniversary show. This would be her first appearance on WWE TV since she left the company in 1995 and tossed the Women’s title into the garbage on WCW Nitro.
UPDATE: Madusa has since clarified on her Twitter her statement about RAW, posting:
“I need to clear my last post.I will be in Houston thisSaturday for monster jam and thenthe following mon. I was thinking on attending raw”
