Deadline.com has some of the initial Friday box office results for WWE Studios’ The Call starring Halle Berry with David Otunga in a supporting role.
The movie looks to be having a strong opening weekend and will likely open as the #2 film for the period. The film grossed $6.2 million on Friday and is projected to make $16.7 million for the weekend. Disney’s Oz The Great and Powerful will likely remain number one. The Call is projected to beat The Incredible Burt Wonderstone, a new comedy starring Jim Carrey and Steve Carell as rival Las Vegas magicians.
