At this time, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie will give the opening speech the night of WrestleMania 29. The video is being recorded and produced ahead of time and will air at the beginning of this year’s big event.
Governor Christie’s speech will be based around Hurricane Sandy, the devastation it caused the New York City and New Jersey area, and the recovery and growth since the storm.
The video will air for the live audience at Met Life Stadium, but it has not been confirmed if it will air on the PPV broadcast of the show.
