Here is Triple H speaking with Brian Fritz today, discussing the new WWE performance center plans in Orlando and his health status. Check out the highlights:
On his arm: “It’s good. Unfortunately, I did not – I’m supposed to be wearing a splint on my hand and should have been wearing it when I just put the hammer through the wall. I wish I had been a few minutes ago… Yeah, it’s good. I have nothing broken in there, just a lot of swelling in my hand. It’s just going to take a couple of weeks to get the swelling out.”
On if he’ll be healthy in time for Extreme Rules: “Yeah, I should be, yeah. I should be.”
On the WWE Oerformance Center: “Walking in the door here – and I’ve been all over the U.S. to those training facilities – walking in the door here will be equivalent to walking in any training facility. You have to keep that level of what you are… This facility now, walking in the door, rivals anything else on the planet for training.”
On the importance of the Performance Center: “I come at it from an in-ring performer standpoint and when I looked at it, I thought, ‘We as a company are not doing all we should be doing to create that.’ And that started that vision. Creating a long-term relationship with them (Full Sail University) allowed us to do this three miles down the road… It’s a giant step for us being able to secure the future of our industry.”
