While previous reports suggested that The Undertaker would be working Extreme Rules in order to make up for CM Punk and The Rock not appearing on the card, that appears to have changed. Due to the fact that John Cena will reportedly be ready to go for his WWE Title match with Ryback, WWE is taking him off of TV until at least SummerSlam.
The company will use the Shield’s attack on ‘Taker on SmackDown last week as a way to write him out for now.
