ROH Announcer Released, New Events & Lineups, More

— Announcer Caleb Selzter is done with the company. He was the color commentator when the company needed someone to fill the role when Adam Pearce didn’t. Seltzer was supposed to “bridge the gap” until Steve Corino started and was not considered a strong announcer, which led to his release. ROH was also unhappy with him over comments he made about the company and talents on a recent podcast. They believed he didn’t represent the company well.

— ROH will return to Texas on June 1 with a show in San Antonio. Davey Richards vs. Jay Briscoe for the ROH title will headline.

— Ring of Honor will return to Richmond, Virginia this Saturday with the following card:

*ROH champ Jay Briscoe vs. BJ Whitmer.
*ROH Tag Team Champions Kyle O’Reilly & Bobby Fish & ROH TV Champion Matt Taven vs Jay Lethal & Caprice Coleman & Cedric Alexander
*Kevin Steen vs Jimmy Jacobs
*The American Wolves (Davey Richards & Eddie Edwards) vs 2 members of S.C.U.M.
*Adam Cole vs. Adam Page
Also set to appear are Michael Elgin, Roderick Strong and Mark Briscoe.
