UPDATE: Steve Corino revealed that Matt Hardy will get his World Title shot on June 23rd at the TV tapings in Baltimore This was announced at the ROH house show on Saturday night. No word on when Michael Elgin and Kevin Steen will get their ROH title shots.
ORIGINAL: On this weekend’s episode of Ring of Honor TV, ROH confirmed that Jay Briscoe will defend the ROH Title against his brother, Mark Briscoe, at the Best in the World PPV. ROH has also confirmed that the following three men have title shots waiting for them…
* Matt Hardy: Due to SCUM’s victory at Border Wars, Steve Corino was also allowed to choose a future #1 contender for his team and chose Hardy.
* Michael Elgin: Earned his title shot with a victory over Jay Lethal at the Ring of Honor 11th Anniversary iPPV.
* Kevin Steen: Steen will reportedly get his rematch for the title, but ROH match maker Nigel McGuinness has placed Steen in a series of challenge matches to prove himself. Steen will have to defeat every single member of SCUM in one-on-one action to receive his title match.
