— WWE developmental worker, James Bronson, is currently recovering from back surgery. Bronson’s procedure was done by Dr. James Maroon. Bronson (age 38) is the son of Neil Freidman, the president of Mattel from 2005 until 2011. Freidman was also most recently the president of Toys R Us.

— At last night’s WWE SmackDown tapings, which will air on August 2nd, Christian defeated Randy Orton and Rob Van Dam in a #1 contenders match. Christian will now face Alberto Del Rio for the World Title at WWE’s SummerSlam PPV.
