— Despite rumors, Hulk Hogan is not scheduled for anything related to WWE in Los Angeles this weekend. Following the Brooke Hogan release in TNA iMPACT! Wrestling on Friday, rumors began swirling that “The Hulkster” would appear at some of the WWE-related activities in Los Angeles this weekend. That is absolutely not the case.
— Earlier this week, we reported the viewership totals for the TNA “Hardcore Justice” edition of iMPACT! Wrestling on Spike TV. To update the numbers, the final cable rating for the show has come in, and “Hardcore Justice” finished with an 0.99 (1.0) cable rating for the Thursday, August 15th broadcast.
The 0.99 final cable rating marks a slight increase of the 0.96 final draw that the “Destination X” edition of iMPACT! Wrestling scored back in July 18th.
Despite the rise in the final rating, as noted, “Hardcore Justice” drew an average of 1.319 million viewers, down from the 1.494 million viewers that “Destination X” drew on 7/18.
On all of cable television on Thursday night, “Hardcore Justice” ranked #35 in overall viewers, #19 among males 18-34 and #15 among males 18-49.
