— As reported yesterday, Gene Petit, who appeared as Cousin Luke for the World Wrestling Federation, has passed away. Courtesy of Bill Apter, the official WWE website has published an article remembering the late grappler.
“It was so much fun when I was in WWE,” said Petit in an interview several years ago. “The connection that Hillbilly Jim, Uncle Elmer and I had with the fans was just amazing. I loved every minute of it. It was like a down-home party wherever we appeared. I wasn’t in WWE for a very long time but I think I did make my mark there!”
