— As noted earlier here on the website, Dustin Rhodes (Goldust) has signed a short term WWE contract in order to be a part of the current Rhodes family angle that is playing out on Raw right now. There is no word on how long Dustin will remain with the company after Sunday’s WWE Battleground pay-per-view.

— WWE Hall of Famer Bob Backlund was taking photos with fans prior to last night’s WWE Battleground PPV. He was also spotted at several WWE live events in the Northeast over the weekend.

— Once again, there were major creative re-writes at WWE’s Battleground pay-per-view yesterday.
