Vince McMahon was reportedly frustrated with Cody Rhodes’ commentary during The Usos vs. The Shield match on RAW this week. Cody was reportedly supposed to “take charge” on commentary, and Vince felt that he did not do that, and instead gave typical babyface responses to the questions. McMahon was feeding lines to JBL in order to up the intensity of the segment. JBL is said to be McMahon’s go to guy for when he wants certain points on commentary emphasized.
Another source denies Vince was upset with Cody, but does admit that Vince pushed JBL to “go after Cody” on commentary.
