» In light of all the stories as of late regarding former TNA wrestler Angelina Love, it’s now being said that the character she played on television was basically an exaggerated version of herself. While she definitely has her critics, many felt her partnership with Velvet Sky was awesome as far as playing and having the gimmick, more outside the ring than in. As noted earlier with Love’s replacement in the group, Lacey Von Erich, she’s incredibly inexperienced so TNA plans on having “The Beautiful People” do more vignettes as opposed to wrestling matches.
» A TV pilot was shot on October 2 for a new scripted reality-based show starring new TNA Knockout Lacey Von Erich. The idea was to shoot the pilot in hopes that it would get picked up by VH1. It was shot where she lives and also featured Shelly Martinez, Lizzy Valentine and Trenesha Biggers (aka former TNA Knockout Rhaka Khan). The concept is to do a show much like “The Hills” on MTV with Von Erich in the starring role and that it is reality based, but scripted. The pilot focused on the other girls being jealous that Von Erich got her new job and Biggers talked about living with Kurt Angle. Whether or not it will be picked up remains to be seen.
