The reason that ROH (and Dragon Gate USA, which will announce their WrestleMania 26 weekend show soon) has announced their WrestleMania 26 weekend show so early is because WWE was actually planning on working with Phoenix and Glendale to block “rival wrestling companies” from using any city owned and managed venues for wrestling shows during what WWE views as “their” week. Thus ROH (and DGUSA) had to plan very early so they could book privately owned venues.
Dragon Gate USA is planning to run a show in Phoenix during WrestleMania 26 weekend. The exact details aren’t known yet.
