— The Magnus vs. AJ Styles title unification match was originally planned to take place on this week’s iMPACT!, but due to Styles’ contract extension ending, it had to be taped during the December TV tapings.

— There were some that thought AJ Styles would main event the Lockdown pay-per-view against Magnus on March 9th. The feeling has changed as of late, due to Styles taking another booking for an ROH TV taping. Styles was not taking ROH dates while he was negotiating with TNA because he didn’t want to commit to another TV product while there was a chance he was returning to TNA. Negotiations between the two sides are continuing.
