Despite original plans, Cody Rhodes vs. Goldust is no longer happening at WrestleMania 30. Unless WWE decides to change their plans over the next week, the split between The Brotherhood will not happen.
The plan all along was to split one of WWE’s top tag-teams and Cody Rhodes/Goldust was the original plan. The company decided to change course of went with splitting up The Real Americans instead. Both Vince McMahon and Triple H are very happy with Cesaro’s work and there are plans to give him a major babyface push following WrestleMania 30.
The Cody Rhodes/Goldust split was expected to happen after the duo lost the WWE tag team titles to the New Age Outlaws at the Royal Rumble.
