— The Hollywood Reporter has now confirmed that TNA Superstar Kurt Angle will play a New York City Fire Chief in Sharknado 2: The Second One.

— As of now, Ethan Carter III will still be wrestling a match at tonight’s TNA Lockdown pay-per-view. As previously reported, Kurt Angle has been pulled from tonight’s event. Ethan Carter III tweeted the following on Saturday:

“For my millions of fans, the answer is YES, I will still be in action at #LockdownMiami. I live for my fans, wouldn’t miss it for the world. In the meantime, my thoughts are with @RealKurtAngle. In the heat of competition, things happen. For that, I am truly sorry. #GetWellKurt I will be hosting a press conference tomorrow at #FanInteraction for #LockdownMiami in regards to @RealKurtAngle’s status and injury.”
