The Next WWE Studios Film?, Midget At Extreme Rules, More

— As noted earlier here on the website, Short Sleeve Sampson, who was the star of Hulk Hogan’s Micro Championship Wrestling, will be appearing at Extreme Rules this Sunday. He will likely be involved in the match between El Torito and Hornswoggle.

— The next WWE Studios film, Road to Paloma, opens on July 11th in limited release. It will get an SVOD release via iTunes on July 4th with a home video release on July 15th.

The film is the directorial debut of Jason Momoa (Game of Thrones, Conan the Barbarian) and stars him, Sarah Shahi, Lisa Bonet, Michael Raymond-James and Wes Studi. The synopsis is below:

“While Native American Wolf (Jason Momoa) is being pursued by the FBI for having taken the law into his own hands, when his mother was raped and killed on their reservation he crosses paths with Cash (Robert Mollohan), a down and out musician who is coping with the end of his marriage. An unlikely friendship develops, as they ride together towards the Teton mountain range, where Wolf will spread his mothers ashes.”
