CBS announced today that they will be airing NFL games on Thursday nights starting on 9/11 until 10/23. TNA’s ratings take a hit when the NFL Network airs games opposite of Impact so they might take a bigger hit when the games begin airing on CBS on Thursday nights. The CBS games will be simulcast on the NFL Network.
The announcement came from NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and Leslie Moonves, president and CEO of CBS Corp., and Sean McManus, chairman, CBS Sports.
Of course, none of this matters if TNA doesn’t get a new TV deal this fall.
