No time for a lengthy intro today, so let's just jump to what you're here for, The People's News and Rumors.

Since it's Thursday, and as always, Smackdown airs tonight, I thought I'd reveal a match that the WWF is hyping up, and of course something I'm looking forward to, a rematch from the Backlash PPV, as Chris Benoit defends his IC title against Y2J, Chris Jericho. Should be a fantastic match, and hopefully the WWF will actually give the match more than 5 minutes.

Now, if you can't wait a few hours and need to know what's going down on tonight's Smackdown, you can check out our Smackdown Spoilers and find out anything and almost everything that went down at Smackdown.

Tomorrow night on CBS, WWF Retiree, Mick Foley will be appearing on Now and Again's Season Finale as a prisoner in a jail. Always great to see Foley on screen, and if you're a fan of Mick like myself, you can check it out by checking your local listings.

Tonight on WWF.com's Byte This, Doctor Tom Pritcherd and Kevin Kelly take on the biggest wrestler in the WWF, the Big Show. Should be interesting to see what the big man has to say, and I'm sure that he'll have more than one hilarious quote at 6 PM at WWF.com.

Moving on to ECW for today, and I think I'll start off with some media appearance news for the Extreme Promotion as ECW stars Tommy Dreamer and New Jack will be appearing on CBS's Early Edition on Saturday night.

Moving on, I have some huge news for all you gamers out there as IGN has released screen shots for the latest ECW Game, Anarchy Rulz which is set for an August release for the PSX and an October release for the Dreamcast. Let me warn you, to some surprise, the shots released look exactly like Hardcore Revolution, which as you know looks just like Acclaim's last WWF game, Attitude. From the player models to the arenas, I really couldn't see a noticeable difference which is shocking as Acclaim basically promised a new engine for Anarchy Rulz. To check out the screens, click HERE.

But some good should come out of Anarchy Rulz such as the additions of the Sandman, Masato Tanaka, Dusty Rhodes, Mikey Whipwreck, Elektra, and Paul Heyman among loads of others to the playable roster. Both PSX.IGN and Videogames.com are saying that a multitude of new gimmick matches are included such as table match, an inferno match, a dumpster match, a hate match, and get this, a Lion's Den match up. Scary that several of these matches were originally WWF gimmick matches, and aside from a table, I've never seen any matches of this kind in ECW. Should be interesting to see how Anarchy Rulz pans out, and of course TPWW's very own Videogame expert, Tim Brechlin will deliver a more in depth analysis of Anarchy Rulz in tomorrow's News and Rumors report.

ECWWrestling.com reports that several new ECW action figures are available to purchase online at ToysRUs.com... Included in the Champion Clasher set includes ECW TV champion, Rhino, Jerry Lynn, Raven, Balls Mahoney, Axl Rotten, Tajiri, and newer editions of both Rob Van Dam and Taz.

It's a little late, but former ECW Tag Champion, and a man who is surrounded by controversy, Lance Storm has thrown even more fuel on the fire so to speak, with his latest online commentary. Check out StormWrestling.com for probably one of most interesting wrestler commentary that I have ever read, as the man from Calgary (Dramatic Pause), Alberta Canada discusses probably the most well known man from his very own hometown, Calgary, Bret "Hitman" Hart. Lance discusses the ever controversial and of course infamous Montreal incident which involved Bret, Vince McMahon, and Shawn Michaels. Storm asks whether the situation was a work or a shoot? And I highly recommend reading Lance's online commentary by clicking the link above.

Time for some WCW news for today, and of course I have to discuss some of the big events that occurred on last night's Thunder program... We saw the returns of both Randy "Macho Man" Savage and Bret Hart in which both performed important actions. Savage aligning himself with the Millionaires Club and Bret continued his assault on Hulk Hogan. I definitely see a Bret/Hulk feud on the horizon, and like usual I have no idea what's going to happen with the Macho Man, but then again, do we ever?

Also on last night's Thunder, one the leaders of the Millionaires Club, Nature Boy Ric Flair won a battle royal that featured more or less than 41 wrestlers. The prize that Flair won was the right to take on the WCW World Champion (I'm guessing Jeff Jarrett) at the Great American Bash. Will Flair become a 15 time World Champion? Only Eric Bischoff and Vince Russo know, but we'll find out the answer in June.

For all you fans of the man, the myth, the legend, Terry "Hulk Hogan" Bollea, you can check out his very own A & E Biography on June 17. Hogan, whose character has changed drastically in the last couple of weeks has basically seen it all and done it all in pro wrestling, so his biography should be more than interesting.

Couple of matches added to Slamborree... Scott Steiner vs. Hugh Morrus for the US title, and Sean Stasiak vs. Curt Hennig are both added to the already stellar card which includes the Triple Cage, Hogan/Kidman, Sting/Vampiro, Buff/Luger, and Flair/Douglas.

WCW.com will be getting you all the backstage dirt before Sunday's Slamboreee with "Hacked into Slamboree". Hosted by Chad Damanai and Nitro Girl, Spice, Hacked into Slamboree starts at 6:30 on Sunday. Check WCW.com for more details.

Goldberg and Scott Steiner are both on the cover of May/June edition of Sports Illustrated for Kids, and the magazine will have an indepth story on Goldberg and more.

Reminder, Sunday night at 8, TPWW will be providing live and free Play by Play of WCW Slamboree. So if you're a fan of WCW but you don't feel like popping out 30 bucks for the PPV, visit TPWW at 8 on Sunday.

Well, that's it for today... Really have nothing else to say, so until next time, Ciao...
