Hey yo, and welcome back to the one and only, TPWW.NET, for yet another edition of the People's News and Rumors. As a new week begins on this Mother's Day, I'd like to wish all the Mothers out there a very happy Mother's Day. Well, enough with the intro and let's get to today's News and Rumors, with news from tonight's Hardcore Heaven Pay Per View to a few returns to expect tomorrow night.

I'm going to start off with the World Wrestling Federation today, and some news on the World Wrestling Federation Champion, the People's Champion, the Rock... Expect the Rock to be back in action tomorrow night on Raw is War, and it should be more than interesting to see the Rock's reaction to Triple H's Iron Man Match Challenge for Judgement Day. With Rock back in action, I'd expect that we'll see Raw bring in some monster ratings.

The WWF brings us another edition of its Sunday night show, Sunday Night Heat tonight, and from the looks of it, there's potential for some great wrestling tonight on USA with Jeff Hardy taking on Essa Rios, Steve Blackman and Al Snow teaming up against the Radicals (Malenko and Saturn), Matt Hardy takes on Val Venis. Hardcore Holly takes on D'Lo Brown, and the WWF Tag champs, Edge and Christian take on the team of Too Cool.

Here's the ever popular, yet often unreliable Raw Preview from DirecTV...
RAW: The Rock Returns
Warzone: Judgment Day preview

Again, really nothing huge as I already covered Rock's return on Monday, and of course with Judgement Day a week away, the World Wrestling Federation would hype the PPV on Raw.

Moving on to some WCW news for today, and first a quick mini DirecTV preview for tomorrow's extravaganza... "Hulk Hogan and Kevin Nash try to annihilate the New Blood."

We'll also be seeing Sting take on Vampiro in a House of Pain Cage match (First man completely handcuffed to the cage is declared the loser), and Vince Russo and David Flair take a trip to the home of David's father, Ric Flair in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The LAW is reporting that Sid will be making his return to WCW tomorrow night. We haven't seen Sid for a while on WCW TV, last time I believe was the first Thunder under the Bischoff/Russo regime. Hopefully the former psycho won't be the big surprise that everybody has been talking about.

In some non Big 3 news for today, Dave Meltzer reports that Atsushi Onita, the Hardcore Legend of Japan has announced that he would be apart of an "Electric Dynamite Match" with Terry Funk in Philadelphia on June 25 if the show, which is promoted by New Jersey's Combat Zone Wrestling, actually takes place. If the show takes place, expect it to air on a few PPV distributors. I heard rumors that it'll air on the DirecTV satellite dish.

Finally, we come to ECW which brings to us its Hardcore Heaven Pay Per View which is sure to be great show. And like every PPV Sunday, not only will I be bring you my predictions for the show but all the news concerning the night's shows.

First up, in what could be a spoiler for tonight's Hardcore Heaven Three way Dance Main event for the World title between current champ, Justin Credible, Lance Storm, and Tommy Dreamer... I was watching ECW Hardcore TV on the MSG network, and as the show went to a commercial, there was a little preview shown for next week's TNN show, as Paul Heyman did a voice over with footage of Raven, stating that regardless of who the champion is coming off of Hardcore Heaven, Raven gets a title shot on TNN. Now, I haven't heard of a TV taping scheduled for this week, and since Raven's match with Justin Credible that was taped in Minnesota last week was never shown on TNN, it's pretty obvious that Credible will be walking out with the ECW title around his waist, unless Paul E has a little swerve planned for tonight that absolutely no one knows about.

Interesting little tidbit from Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer on Calgary's Finest Athlete, one of my favorite wrestlers, and a man shrouded with controversy all week long, Lance Storm... Basically, if Storm does the job without any controversy, chances are that he's off to WCW. While if there is some controversy with the ending that could lead to a possible angle, there's a chance that Lance will be sticking around to main event the Heat Wave PPV with Justin Credible.

The Voice of ECW, Joey Styles basically did a "shoot" on the TNN network and the man now in charge of TNN and the MTV networks, CEO Tom Freston. Now, Joey voices the feeling of many of the ECW loyal including myself, and if you're interested in what he said, you can read it by clicking HERE.

Various sources report that Super Crazy and the team of Jado and Gedo won't be appearing at tonight's PPV. Rather Masato Tanaka and Kintaro "Wing" Kanemura of FMW fame will be making some sort of an appearance in Milwaukee.

Finally, like every PPV Sunday, it's time for some predictions for the confirmed Triple Main Event, so hopefully I won't go 0 for 3 today, rather 3 for 3 :)...

Three Way Dance for the ECW World Title
Justin Credible vs. Tommy Dreamer vs. Lance Storm:
I always seem to love watching ECW Three Way Dances compared to Three Ways in the other two major promotions, and there is no doubt that I'll enjoy this one. I'm going to have to go with the man who claims he's not Just the Coolest, Not Just the Best... alright, enough with Credible's catch phrase. JC will take the win tonight.
Winner: Justin Credible.

Rhino vs. The Sandman for the ECW TV Title:
Nothing against the Sandman who is super over, but I can't see him defeating the Network's Chosen Champion, who's been on a tear lately. I'm guessing we'll get to see Rhino take the win here in a match that was promised for the two previous PPVs.
Winner: Rhino

Rob Van Dam vs. Jerry Lynn
Extremely tough match to call here with both men returning from injuries... This is Jerry's third or fourth match back, and RVD's first since his injury in a match against Rhino in February. I think Jerry Lynn will hand Mr. Pay Per View his first defeat on PPV, with an assist from Scotty Anton of all people.
Winner: Jerry Lynn

Reminder, we'll be providing live and of course free Play by Play of ECW's Hardcore Heaven tonight at 8 PM eastern. So check back around 8 to join the fun, in what is sure to be one of the most Hardcore and controversial PPVs of 2000.

That's it for today... Check back tomorrow for more news, rumors, and analysis of ECW's Hardcore Heaven. So until next time... Ciao.
