Welcome to the Labor Day edition of the news and rumors here at TPWW.net. Honestly, I'm not feeling the greatest right now since today, for whatever reason, has been a horrible cold/allergies day for me. Also, since today is Labor Day, wrestling news has seemingly taken the entire weekend off. Adding those factors together does not equal the greatest news report. As you can probably already tell, I'm even having trouble making this intro make sense. ANYWAY, here are today's news and rumors...

The big story of the day is that we will apparently be "hearing from" Stone Cold Steve Austin tonight on Raw in some shape or form. Whether or not it will be on the phone, an interview segment, or any other possibilities you can think of right now has not been mentioned, but according to WWF.com's preview of tonight's Raw, "we will be hearing from Stone Cold Steve Austin!" Either way, I'm definitely looking forward to it.

As if you haven't been reminded enough, tonight's Raw is War will once again be pre-empted and aired two hours late (except on the west coast) due to USA's decision to air US Open Tennis in Raw's timeslot. Again, Raw will air at 11PM EST tonight in the US.

Here are a few other things you can expect for tonight's Raw is War, courtesy of WWF.com:
- Kurt Angle vs. Chyna - Intercontinental Title
- Kane vs. Chris Benoit - For the #1 contendorship
- Edge and Christian vs. The Rock and Undertaker - Tag Team Titles
- The Dudleys vs. The Acolytes - Table Match
- The Right to Censor will welcome a new member to their group.

As for that new member to the Right to Censor, as of now, one major guess that has been thrown around, according to Dave Meltzer, is that it will be former WCW woman wrestler, Mona, who has recently signed with the WWF. Rumors have been circulating lately that the RTC will introduce a female member into their group and as of now, Mona does seem like a logical guess, although it is simply a rumor right now and may not actually happen yet on tonight's Raw.

There are rumors that when Raven enters the World Wrestling Federation, which could be at anytime now, he may somehow be aligned with Kane. An idea that has been thrown around is that Raven will "control" Kane's mind, which would explain Kane's heel turn against the Undertaker, according to Dave Meltzer. Interesting situation...

Thanks to Mark Rubino for sending along results of Saturday's WWF house show in Boston, MA. You can check out the results HERE.

Chris Jericho and Trish Stratus will be doing a promotional tour in the UK sometime this fall to promote the WWF's upcoming UK-only PPV, which will take place in Sheffield, England on December 2. Thanks to Mike Franey for that news bit.

Wyclef Jean's new CD, which includes "It Doesn't Matter" featuring The Rock was released in the UK today. Thanks once again to Mike Franey for that piece of news.

Rules and teams for tonight's WCW Triple Cage "War Games" on WCW Nitro have been announced. Eight members, split into two teams will battle it out in the Triple Cage. Every two minutes, another one of the eight wrestlers will enter. Whoever climbs the cages first, reaches the WCW World Title on top, and brings it out of the cage, will be the winner and new champion. The competitors are as follows:
- Team Russo: Vince Russo, Kevin Nash, Scott Steiner, Jeff Jarrett
- Team WCW: Booker T, Goldberg, Sting, The Cat

The Insane Clown Posse will also be receiving a tag team title shot tonight against Rey Mysterio Jr and Juventud Guerrera. It has also been announced on the ICP website, insaneclownposse.com, that "Evil Dead," a wrestler from their "Juggalo Championsh*t Wrestling" promotion, will appear on Nitro tonight.

Sting may very well be elevated to main event status once again (where he rightly belongs) after WCW's next PPV, Fall Brawl, according to Dave Scherer.

In all honesty, there really isn't much going around in the world of wrestling other than what was mentioned above in today's report, so I guess it's time to wrap this one up. Before I go, I'd like to welcome Adam Kirk back and invite you all to check out his column, Nevermore. Whenever Adam writes, it's always a great read. With that said, it's now time to end this report. Thanks again for reading, and enjoy Raw and Nitro tonight. Until next time...
