Welcome to TPWW.net on this day after Thanksgiving Friday. Hopefully everyone had a good holiday yesterday here in the States, but it's now back to business, so without further delay, here are today's news and rumors.

WWF Smackdown! scored a relatively low 4.2 overnight rating last night, helping UPN to a fifth place, behind NBC, ABC, CBS, and FOX, respectively. However, Smackdown wasn't the only show that was hit hard last night, as all other network ratings suffered noticeably, obviously due to the Thanksgiving holiday.

As was mentioned on Thursday's edition of Smackdown!, Triple H will be making an appearance on Raw is War this Monday night in some shape or form. This comes just barely over a week after Triple H was supposedly "dropped twenty feet" from inside a car. If the WWF wants to keep the small amount of believers they have with this angle, they had better have something good planned for Monday.

Chyna will guest host Heat this Sunday on MTV, live from WWF New York.

The WWF has opened a site for their upcoming PPV on December 10, WWF Armageddon. The site features news on this year's PPV, plus photos and videos from last year's Armageddon PPV. The site can be visted by clicking HERE.

The following is the current top selling WWF merchandise at WWFShopzone.com:
1. Hardy Boyz & Lita Long Sleeve T-Shirt
2. The Rock "Just Bring It!" T-shirt
3. Chris Jericho Y2J Hockey Jersey
4. Stone Cold Steve Austin "100% HellRaiser" T-shirt
5. WWF Cookbook "Can you Take the Heat?"
6. Edge & Christian Awesomeness T-Shirt
7. Mick Foley - Christmas Chaos Book
8. The Rock Golden Bull T-Shirt
9. Lita Framed Photo
10. HHH "I Am The Game" T-shirt

Goldberg was on ABC's "Live with Regis" this morning to promote his new book, "I'm Next." TPWW reporter Rich Gray filed a complete report of Goldberg's appearance, which you can read HERE.

Lance Storm suffered a minor injury this past Monday during WCW's Thunder tapings, according to Live Audio Wrestling. Storm reportedly suffered a tissue tear on the left side of his ribs, but as mentioned above, it is not believed to be serious and he is still expected to wrestle this Sunday at the WCW Mayhem PPV against General Rection, but may take a couple of weeks off afterwards due to doctor's orders.

Here is the current card for Sunday's WCW PPV, WCW Mayhem:
- Booker T vs. Scott Steiner - WCW Title - Caged Heat
- Goldberg vs. Lex Luger
- Jeff Jarrett vs. Buff Bagwell
- Kevin Nash & DDP vs. The Perfect Event
- Lance Storm vs. General Rection - Canadian Title
- The Cat vs. The Franchise
- Mike Awesome vs. Bam Bam Bigelow
- Crowbar vs. Reno vs. Big Vito - Hardcore Title Match
- Mike Sanders vs. Kwee Wee - Cruiserweight Title
- 3 Count vs. Jung Dragons vs. Evan Karagias & Jaime Knoble
- Jimmy Hart vs. Mancow - DJ Challenge

On the subject of the PPV, a reminder that we will provide free, live match by match results of the show right here at TPWW.net this Sunday night at 8:00PM EST.

ECW will air tonight on the USA Network... However, unfortunately it will be only in the form of a short video montage on USA Network's music show, FarmClub.com. Tonight's FarmClub, which airs at 12:00 AM EST, will feature an "ECW Video of the Week," according to ECWwrestling.com, showcasing Kid Kash and EZ Money. USA Network may apparently be looking into the show to see how well ECW boosts the ratings and if they like what they see, this could be the next step for ECW in getting a national television deal.

The Sandman, Steve Corino, Tajiri, and Mikey Whipwreck will appear at an independent wrestling show on Thursday, December 7 for XSE wrestling. XSEKellerman sent along the following: "Xtreme Sports Entertainment, Inc. (XSE) is proud to announce the biggest Texas independent wrestling show in years will be taking place Thursday, December 7 at the historic Stagecoach Ballroom in Ft. Worth, Texas. The event will be called the Xtreme Xmas Xtravaganza or TripleXmas for short. ECW stars Mikey Whipwreck, "The Japanese Buzzsaw" Yoshihiro Tajiri, "Hardcore Icon" The Sandman, and ECW World Heavyweight Champion "The King of Old School" Steve Corino will headline the spectacular event. Also on the card will be local stars "Main Event" Mike Foxx, Bull Schmitt, Joey Corman, Samir, Kevin Duncan, and many more!" That just about wraps it up for today's report. I honestly can't think of much else to say, so until next time...
