Welcome to my third edition of the News and Rumors report here on TPWW. I received a tremendous amount of feedback regarding my previous news and rumors report, and most of them were questions and again, I made sure to reply to each and every one of them. (Aren't I the best?) Okay, enough with this into and let's get down to business.

Let me start off with Survivor Series. It was a decent PPV, I can't say it sucked, and I can't say it was the best. In case you guys didn't notice... Earlier that night on Heat, Jim Ross said something like this: "Tonight someone from the Alliance will come back to the WWF." Right away I knew Jim Ross screwed up because he said the word "back". It was either Austin or Kurt Angle and we later found out that it was Kurt Angle. I am not here to recap the whole Survivor Series results because you already know them, if for some reason you didn't read them, they are posted on TPWW and you can read them by clicking HERE. Anyway, the main event was not bad, the last two men were The Rock and Stone Cold (surprising, huh? Yeah, right).

During the main event, Paul Heyman said something that cracked me up.
*Austin puts The Rock in the Sharpshooter*
Heyman: TAP! TAP!
Jim Ross: The Rock won't tap with this much on the line.
Heyman: Why doesn't Earl Hebner just ring the bell?
Jim Ross: Because he didn't tap!
Heyman: Well it never stopped him before!
I am sure the majority of you reading this will know what he meant. If you don't know what he meant, e-mail me and I'll tell you. Hopefully I'll get a couple emails on this, let's pray. :-)

In the tag team unification match between the Dudleyz and the Hardyz, Matt Hardy was was lying against the cage and the Dudleyz went crashing into him, which sent his face into the steel. As a result of that, one side of Matt's gums was turned sideways and he almost had his two front teeth knocked off. The good news is, doctors pushed his teeth and gums back together. Some more good news, Matt had X-rays and no nerve damage was shown. But in ten days, he will require more X-rays because there is a small possibility that a nerve damage can develop, although doctors are doubting that.

On to WWF RAW... Well, in my opinion it was one of the best episodes of RAW for this year. I repeat "THIS YEAR!"

Lets start off with Mick Foley resigning as WWF commissioner. Now people would think it's all a storyline. Foley and the WWF did part ways, although he is still under contract, but he won't be used. Let me explain why they planned that kind of "departure" for Foley. Usually, guys that leave the WWF don't get to do segments like that. It was like leave it open-ended in the case that Mick Foley could make an appearance somewhere down the road if the opportunity comes. It's been reported that Vince and Foley are on good terms now, but they decided to part ways for the time being.

On RAW, we also saw the return of Jerry "The King" Lawler and the "Nature Boy" Ric Flair. Ric Flair told Vince McMahon that Shane and Stephanie sold their stocks to him and he is business partners with Vince McMahon and that Vince and Flair will be styling and profiling, whooooo. Of course that's all a storyline. This storyline can give the WWF the possibility of having two separate promotions, meaning double the PPVs, house shows, merchandising, etc. However, nothing is confirmed at the moment. The WWF may just use Flair's addition to the storyline to have him re-hire several of the "fired" Alliance members or something to that extent.

As many of you noticed, there wasn't too much wrestling on RAW, but for that night it didn't hurt at all. Get this, the WWF scored a 4.8 rating for RAW, which is up by 0.7 from last week. The first hour of RAW scored a 4.8 rating and so did the second hour. But the Ric Flair segment scored a 5.4 quarter hour rating. Hopefully for the WWF, the ratings will continue to increase.

In other ratings, WWF Excess scored a 0.6 cable rating, Sunday Night Heat scored a 1.1 cable rating and the replay of Heat scored a 0.7 rating.

David Flair, Triple H, and Mr. T were all backstage at WWF RAW last night. David Flair was just there to witness his father's return.

Owen Hart's widow, Martha Hart has decided to take legal action against Diana Hart. (I reported that there would be some lawsuits against her book a couple of weeks back, and well, here it is.) Martha said that Diana made irresponsible and inaccurate statements in her book about her and her family. Diana's book is entitled "Under the Mat: Inside Wrestling's Greatest Family" and from what I am hearing, the book is horrible. People that have read the book, told me that there are a bunch of lies in the book and she takes shots at members of her own family. That's all the news and rumors for today. Sorry I had to cut it kind of short, but I have been extremely busy as of late and I thought this report would be better than nothing. Thanks for reading.
