UPDATE - December 3 - Hey everyone,

There won't be a news and rumors report until later this week. Sorry for this inconvenience, but my Bret Hart/Vince McMahon column got me well over 550 e-mails and that's not including the regular e-mails I get daily. I will try my best answering each e-mail individually.

Anyway, maybe, just maybe I'll try to slip in a few news and rumors tidbits in the next couple of days. But I should be back on track later this week. Again, my mailbox is full, and I also got other e-mails to reply to that don't concern my column.

Thanks for understanding.
Take care.

Hello my friend(s), we meet again. It's been awhile, where should we begin? Feels like forever. Ok, enough with the "My Sacrifice" Creed lyrics and let's get down to business.

Let me start off with the Paul Heyman quote thing that I wrote in my previous News and Rumors report. I received OVER 160 emails regarding that. Yes, you read it right, 160. I also want to add that I replied to each and every one of those emails. I have better stuff to do, but hey, I am a man of my words - I always answer my emails. Now about the Paul Heyman quote... I was honestly expecting a maximum of 10 emails about it, but I was wrong. Anyway, Heyman was referring to the Bret Hart incident at the Survivor Series of 1997.

Some of you knew what the joke meant and e-mailed me and asked me questions about the Survivor Series, I said I would talk about SS 1997 in one of my news and rumors, but not this one. I know the topic is getting really old, but it's never old to debate. As much as I am going to regret this, if some of you really want my opinion about what happened that night (1997 Survivor Series), you can email me and tell me you want read about it and read my opinions on it, then next time in my N & R post, I will make a side column and explain the Survivor Series 1997 in full. That's only if I get a lot of feedback from people wanting me to do this. AGAIN, ENOUGH WITH THIS! :)

Down to the News and Rumors.

Ric Flair was on a radio show last week and he discussed his meeting with Vince McMahon. Flair said that the WWF contacted him on November 9th and didn't have a WWF contract until Monday afternoon. Ric Flair also said that he will not be traveling much like the other guys on the roster. He also hinted that he might be only doing this for another two years. For those interested, Ric Flair is 52 years old and will turn 53 on February 25.

In my last report, I mentioned that Owen Hart's widow, Martha Hart is filing a lawsuit against Diana Hart (because of her book). Diana has responded by basically saying she's not afraid, and that she will stand by her book and let the court decide. "I'm not prepared to back down on this." I personally hope Martha wins this lawsuit. I still haven't read the book, but from what I am hearing... I am lucky I haven't read it, because it contains a bunch of lies and it's making the Hart family look really bad.

Speaking of Diana Hart, her former husband, the British Bulldog, won his latest court battle. Bruce Hart (brother of Bret) had filed a lawsuit against the British Bulldog, claiming Smith uttered threats of causing bodily harm to him.

Jim Ross said the following in his Ross Report: "Triple H is making significant progress from quadriceps surgery. Originally, it was thought he would be back in the ring by mid-December, but, based on Dr. Andrews' evaluation, he may be held back until January. Triple H will be meeting with Andrews and staff soon to determine his date of return. As this item will be probably over-analyzed, "wrestle-speak" you know, Triple H’s return will be decided by Dr. Andrews' evaluation, which could see The Game available for Dec. 9’s Vengeance (yes, the event's poster is misleading) or he could return a few weeks later."

I want to comment on what Jim Ross said. I really doubt HHH will be held back until January. Jim Ross is probably saying that so we can be surprised by HHH's appearance at the PPV, but how can we be surprised with the PPV poster having him all over it? It is not misleading. I don't think the WWF is that stupid to distribute that picture to all cable companies so they can falsely advertise the PPV with HHH's picture on it. My prediction is that wether he's wrestling or not, HHH will somehow be at the PPV.

Speaking of Triple H, he will be taping an episode of MADTV next week that will air December 9 on FOX.

Bad news for Mike Awesome fans. An MRI confirmed a torn ACL and Mike will undergo surgery some time in December. The estimated time of recovery is six months.

The Hardy Boyz, Lita, Test, Molly and Jackie will be taping an episode of "Fear Factor" on December 12, 13, 14. The air date has yet to be announced.

Joanie Laurer (Chyna) already taped an episode of "Fear Factor" and it will air on NBC this upcoming Tuesday at 8:00 PM Eastern Time.

The Rock is on the cover of the new TV guide for the week of November 26th.

The RVD-Rock promo from Smackdown was scrapped off last week by producer Kevin Dunn. Dunn did not like the way the promo turned out and chose not to have it aired on TV. The people that were at the tapings on Tuesday said it was comical and entertaining, but it was Kevin Dunn's decision.

Anyway, that's all for today. Take care.
