As you might have noticed on Smackdown this past Thursday, Tazz and Michael Cole were at each other's throats for much of the show, with Tazz playing the heel commentator role and Michael Cole playing face. WWE is doing this to test if the old heel/face announce team will work, since Tazz and Cole have both been faces for a while now. The idea is Vince McMahon's according to Dave Scherer.
