The following comes from WashingtonPost.com:

"Even if you don't understand us, we really appreciate your bestowing this honor upon us," Mick Foley, the mop-topped World Wrestling Entertainment star, told a chortling crowd at the USO of Metropolitan Washington awards dinner Tuesday night. The patriotic, pumped-up men and ladies of the WWE - who regularly visit military hospitals and have been to Baghdad to entertain the troops - received the "Legacy of Hope" award from Bob Hope's son, Tony. Said Foley of the soldiers' appetites: "Slim Jims and wrestling: That's what our servicemen want, so that's what we give them."
