Rey Mysterio is suffering from dizziness and will be taking a couple of weeks off in order to undergo medical tests that will hopefully discover the problem.

Even though it sounds bad, the injury may have actually happened at a good time considering that SmackDown writer Dave Lagana had notified Mysterio that the creative team didn't have anything for him right now. Lagana also gave Mysterio permission to present any ideas that he had for his character to the writing team.

It should be noted that this comes just a couple of months after Mysterio was told that the company had big plans for him as a heavyweight.
