As reported earlier, Steve Austin is done with WWE and is considering working in Japan soon. Austin is ready to return to the ring and wrestle. One other option that is being thought about is for Austin and Goldberg to hold their own one time only PPV event where they wrestle each other for the first time ever. The problem at this point would be that Austin does not really have any footage of himself that could be used to hype the PPV event. WWE owns just about all the footage of him from the past years, going back to ECW and WCW. WWE also owns all of Goldberg's WWE and WCW footage, but Goldberg has some Pride footage that he could use.
