We have it confirmed that Paul Heyman is indeed backstage at tonight's SmackDown, although no word on his potential role for tonight's show was available at press time. If he does, in fact, have an on-air return as rumored, the angle was written over the weekend, so this is somewhat of an abrupt move.

Additionally, HHH and Shane McMahon are backstage, but their appearances are solely to visit and spend time with the workers, since WWE was in Canada for RAW and Backlash.
