Jim Ross was the guest on Byte This! earlier today and talked about a variety of subjects. Ross lashed out again at internet writers and said some of them have such vivid imaginations that they should apply to write for the WWE creative team.
Ross also talked about the return of the Undertaker and then had some interesting things to say about Steve Austin. "We had a great run with Stone Cold," Ross said. "Stone Cold became a multi-millionaire in WWE." Ross said the two sides just couldn't agree on terms of a new contract and added, "I saw a lot of erroneous information on that subject". Ross said, "I do think that somewhere down the line we'll see Stone Cold back in the WWE. I hope that those who are advising him have enough intellegence not to put him back in the ring where he'll be wrestling".
Regarding reports that Austin may be looking to work some dates in Japan, Ross said it wouldn't surprise him but pointed out, "They're desperate. Japanese wrestling is sucking pond water".
Regarding Bill Goldberg's departure from WWE, Ross cleared up reports that WWE had offered him a new contract by saying, "We never offered another contract to Bill Goldberg. I did have discussions with Bill to ask him if he wanted to stay, but never offered him a contract".
