As of right now the plan is for Chris Benoit vs. Triple H to headline this year's Summerslam PPV. This will most likely be the point where WWE decides to either keep going with Benoit (if business is doing well) or have Triple H get his belt back.

I wouldn't expect Benoit to drop the title any time before his singles match with Triple H (whether the planned Summerslam main event goes through or not), for the above reason.
