Bret Hart Appears At MCW show; Will He Wrestle Again? Thanks to reader Chris Piatt for sending the following:
Last Friday night Bret Hart, Al Snow, and Bull Buchanon appeared at an MCW show in Canton, OH. Bret Hart was just there to take pictures and sign autographs. He talked about how it was nice to be back in Canton as it reminded him of taping Superstars there years ago. He has lost feeling in his whole left side so the possibility of him ever wrestling is zero. His left arm is completely immobile. Overall though he was in great spirits and glad to see that nobody has forgotten about him.
When Bull Buchanon came out hardly anyone knew who he was. He was involved in a 25 man over the top Battle Royal which he won. I talked to him during intermission and he is currently working in Japan. He is happy there and does not have any interest returning to the WWE at the present moment unless something presents itself.
Al Snow was crazier than a pet coon. His matchup was against an Amish guy. The match went all over the building. In the end Al performed the Snow Plow, Sweet Chin Music, the Pedigree, Mr. Socko, The Peoples Elbow, and finally ended the match with HEAD for the pin.
Overall the show was really good for being an independent event. Former WWE developmental star B.J. Payne was also on the card as was a former WCW star who I cannot remember his name but he wasn't any good. Between Bret Hart, Al Snow, and Bull Buchanon, Bull was the nicest of them all, which surprised me, as he actually talked with the fans instead of just pushing them along.
