The backstage word we are getting is that WWE has already reevaluated the upcoming push of Hirohito. The initial feeling was that the character (to be played by Kenzo Suzuki) was going to be brought in and pushed to the very top of the roster.

The word backstage now is that they will bring him in on a lesser scale to see if he gets over and then they will decide whether or not to push him to the top.

In addition, the company has heard from officials in Japan that the character is not going to go over very well with those working in that country which could have had some influence on the decision.
