Expect Jeff Jarrett to defeat AJ Styles for the NWA Title sometime before the debut of their weekly TV show on FSN. The original plan was for Styles to get the title and lose it back to Jarrett before the first TV show, and as of right now that plan still stands. The idea of Styles becoming champion came from Vince Russo, and Jarrett had no problems with it though he feels that he should be the champion once the company moves to weekly TV.
Regarding the TV deal, it is expected that the "surprise announcement" next week on PPV will be the announcement of weekly TV. The 3pm timeslot on Fridays is how it looks right now, though another option that TNA is looking into (if this hasn't all been 100% confirmed yet) is an 11am Sunday slot. The Sunday slot would be more logical, though it will also be more costly.
Many people inside NWA-TNA are predicting that Nathan Jones, former WWE wrestler, will possibly be working with TNA in the not so distant future. Jones currently resides in Orlando, Florida, and with the recent announcement of TNA's TV deal with Fox Sports Net, and having to tape the shows and fly talent into Orlando, the thought is that Jones will eventually end up there. All of this depends on the relationship between Jones and Jeff Jarrett, and whether or not the two got along with one another during the WWA tours a few years ago.
