Update On Goldberg's Injury, HUSTLE-3 Info; More

By Richard Gray on May 6, 2004 at 5:32 PM EST

I reported earlier here today that Bill Goldberg has been pulled off of HUSTLE-3 this Saturday in Yokohama, Japan. According to one industry source, the reason that Goldberg will be unable to work the event is due to an injury to his right fist that he suffered while training. Goldberg thought that he would be fine to work until his fist got infected.

Goldberg's agent Barry Bloom was able to acquire Mick Foley (who he also represents) for the event so that he would have a valid replacement. It should be noted that this will be Foley's first Japanese wrestling appearance since 1996.

Foley, Kevin Nash, and Scott Hall posed for publicity photos today in Tokyo for the event. Those photos have been made available online and you can view them by clicking here.
