At the moment, the Rock is a full-time movie star and part-time wrestling icon but with summer (and "SummerSlam") fast approaching, it seems the "People's Champion" could be returning soon. The general consensus right now is that WWE needs someone who can pull good ratings and enormous fan reactions, a bill that the Rock certainly fits. WWE feels that the Rock's star power is needed on a more full-time basis. The Rock made a surprise return earlier this year to aid Mick Foley in his feud with Evolution, and he recently made an appearance on RAW to aid Eugene.

Shawn Michaels and Booker T are expected to take extended leaves from WWE.

Christian is expected to return on RAW in two to three weeks. He is currently recovering from a back injury.
