- WWE is searching for someone to be in charge of storyline continuity and the overall direction of the storylines. The leading candidate at the moment is a former soap opera writer who has no real knowledge of wrestling. It is being said that WWE has offered him a $200,000 per year deal. Many backstage feel that hiring someone to be in charge of storyline continuity makes no sense since Vince McMahon ends up changing his mind constantly on what to do and how to do it.

- As previously reported, WWE Diva Rue DeBona was let go by the WWE. Another WWE diva has been released from her contract, this time it is the longest serving WWE diva, Jacqueline. The release of Jacqueline has many people puzzled since she was just recently the WWE Cruiserweight Champion, and had a PPV appearance against Chavo Jr.
