- Kurt Angle is expected to return to the ring at SummerSlam. There is a strong possibility that he will be in a match against Eddie Guerrero. Those backstage are saying that Angle has come to accept the fact that he will have to change his wrestling style to a safer one if he wants to continue wrestling.

- Vince McMahon has had talks with Bruno Sammartino about getting him into the WWE Hall of Fame. McMahon would like to "legitimize" the WWE Hall of Fame by adding Bruno Sammartino, Hulk Hogan, and Bret Hart as soon as possible. The WWE Hall of Fame will have a future involvement in WrestleMania events.
