The word making the rounds on the Smackdown Japan tour was that Kurt Angle was lobbying the agents for Luther Reigns to beat Rob Van Dam on the second show there. As I understand it, Angle wanted Luther to win since he's his associate and reflects on him. Luther did get the win in their match and the fans didn't like it at all judging from the reports we got from fans in Tokyo that were there.
