According to 1wrestling.com, WWE released Ryan Sakoda earlier this week.

Sakoda, who was used in tag team matches with Akio (aka Jimmy Yang) along with Tajiri (before his jump to RAW during the Draft Lottery), was mostly used on Velocity until being sent down to Ohio Valley Wrestling recently. Additional reports have said he has been dealing with hip problems as well.

As with other recent WWE releases, Sakoda will have a 90 day no-compete period before he can go work for other wrestling promotions if he makes the decision to do so.
