Final SD! Rating, More Iron Man Matches On TV Seems Unlikely

- This week's edition of Smackdown did a 3.3 broadcast rating according to Nielsen, which is up from the 3.1 rating the show pulled in last week.

- With the two free-TV Iron Man matches, Triple H vs. Benoit, and Kurt Angle vs. Brock Lesnar become ratings failures, it seems unlikely that WWE will try a tactic such as this again for quite some time. The general feeling is that by advertising the match ahead of time, the viewers will then feel like they only need to watch the final few minutes of the show, instead of watching the entire one-hour match, to see the finish.
