- This week's edition of Smackdown did a 2.6 broadcast rating according to Nielsen, which is up from the 2.5 rating the show pulled in last week.

- Paul Heyman's return to the WWE creative team is expected to make the biggest impact on Bruce Prichard. Prichard has been Vince McMahon's right hand man for Smackdown and has went out of his way to protect his spot and keep Dave Lagana from becoming the head writer by bad mouthing him to Vince.

Due to Prichard's hiatus from the creative team, Lagana will now become the head writer for Smackdown. Lagana has no problems with Heyman and is looking forward to working with him.
