* TSN in Canada did not show the tribute to Ray "Big Bossman" Traylor at the start of RAW.

* At an upcoming October 9 indy show, Jeff Farmer, who portrayed the NWO Sting in WCW and New Japan Pro Wrestling, will be in the main event against Lex Luger (will not be Steve Borden's "Sting" version). The show will be part of a video store opening in Vidalia, Louisiana. Also scheduled to appear are Rick Steiner, Buddy Landell, D'Lo Brown, and Buff Bagwell.

* Due to UPN chosing to air the Presidential debate in the New York market this week, Smackdown will be preempted. Those in that market will be able to watch it on Saturday at 8 pm.
